| Date | Opposition | H/A | Venue | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| May 13 | Bricklayer's Arms | H | Nursery Road | CAMRAswl won by 124 runs. The stand-out batting performances were half centuries from Shaun Lombard (77) and Garth Hill (84) in setting the Bricklayers a target of 223. Everyone contributed in the field to support some exceptionally tight opening bowling, Tom Carter’s two wickets coming in the fifth over; Chris Schramm bowled an economical spell in the second half of the innings, ending with three wickets. We were unable to wrap up the tail and the Bricklayers were still standing at the end, having scored 98 runs in their 30 overs. |

| Jun 04 | Prince of Wales & Trafalgar | A | Abbey Rec | This was a mini-tournament between the Prince of Wales, the Trafalgar and CAMRA SWL. The tournament was arranged in a round-robin format with each team playing each of the others once in a 12 over match. Match 1 saw a victory for the Traf against the Prince of Wales by a margin of 10-20 runs. Match 2 was CAMRAswl vs the Traf. CAMRAswl won by somewhere in the region of 80 runs, having batted first and posted a total of 121 (Shaun Lombard 82 not out). Match 3 again saw a CAMRAswl victory batting first. Franklyn and Seni Richards recording an unbroken father and son opening stand of 88 to set the Prince of Wales a target of 89 to square the competition at one win apiece. The POW’s varied batting lineup fought valiantly, with some hefty hitting from their overseas contingent, but were all out for 46 in the penultimate over of the match. CAMRAswl won the tournament convincingly. All three teams repaired to the Prince of Wales for post-game presentations and festivities. |
