CAMRA SW London Pub of the Year 2012
EAGLE ALE HOUSE FINALLY COMES OUT ON TOP
The CAMRA SW London Pub of the Year 2012 is the EAGLE ALE HOUSE 104 Chatham Road, Battersea, SW11 6HG. The pub had finished as runner-up in the 2010 and 2011 votes.
There was a good turnout of branch members and pub regulars for the Presentation of the Winner's certificate at the pub on Wednesday 1st May 2013.
The winning pub was announced at the Battersea Beer Festival at 4.30pm on Thursday 7th February 2013.
All 1600+ branch members received a numbered voting form with the Christmas mailout.

There were seven pubs on the shortlist. As per CAMRAswl branch rules the previous year's winning pub is ineligible for this year's vote. The Trafalgar in Merton was the 2011 champion.

If you are wondering why we select the Pub of the Year 2012 when we are in 2013 it's because the award is retrospective - the winning pub was the best pub throughout the year of 2012.
